These delicious 3-ingredient roasted peaches with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg are perfect for baby led weaning babies, toddlers, and parents as a side dish or topper for oatmeal and yogurt.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe peaches (or nectarines)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Line a small baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Cut peaches in half, remove the pit, and slice each half into 4 slices.
  3. Toss peach slices with cinnamon and nutmeg to coat.
  4. Spread peaches in the baking dish. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until soft and juicy, stirring once halfway through. Cook even longer if you want them really soft and squishy.
  5. Cool peaches before serving to baby or storing.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • The parchment paper helps prevent sticking and also makes cleanup much easier, so don't skip it.
  • Feel free to play with spices. Cardamom or ginger would be delicious!
  • If you're making these for older kids or adults, feel free to add a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of brown sugar before baking to encourage caramelization and add a touch more sweetness.
